Natural home remedies for removing black heads

When excess secretion of oil expands and thickens your skin pores blackheads pop in. Blackheads are just pimples that don't have skin over them. Because there is no skin, they're open to the air and the top layer of gunk oxidizes and turns them to the darkish black color. Blackheads commonly appear on chin, around nostrils and forehead.  If blackheads are not removed they might cause pimples and acne. Trying to squeeze them is not the right method to get rid of blackheads as it might cause open pores and scars.  There are many natural ways to get rid of them.

Natural home remedies for removing black heads

1) Wash your face twice daily.
The cause of blackheads is dirty skin, so make sure yours is clean and clear by washing it once in the morning and once at night. Always be sure to remove all makeup before washing your skin (if you’re wearing any). Follow up your face wash routine with a gentle facial moisturizer to keep your skin from over-producing oils which cause blackheads.

2) Drink Water
The easiest way to remove toxins from your body is by drinking water. Avoid coffee, artificially flavored juices and tea as it removes water from your body. To keep your skin smooth and clear naturally, drink water throughout the day. Add some lemon or honey in water and drink it first thing in the morning. This will flush away body toxins which create skin problems.

3) Remove you makeup
The most common mistake that women do is not removing makeup with a makeup remover. Washing your face with a facial cleanser (unless it has makeup removing properties) will not clean your skin from the makeup that has set into your pores. Always clean all the makeup with a remover then wash your face. Also, never sleep with the makeup on. If you are feeling too lazy to remove makeup, just wipe your face with a facial wipe.

4) Cleanse your face
Wash your face with a good cleanser at least twice a day. If your skin is very oily keep splashing plain water on your face. This way you will get rid of any dust that might block your pores. Avoid using cleansers excessively it may worsen the situation.

5) Exfoliate
After cleansing, use a mild gentle exfoliater to deep cleanse your pores. Exfoliators are great to remove dead skin cells accumulated in your pores. Gently massage the scrub, its rough texture will soften the pores and remove blackheads. Make sure you don’t over scrub your face as it will dry out your skin, increasing oil excretion.

5) Steaming
Steaming is a very effective way to remove blackheads from your face. Just boil a pot of water, you may add lemon or green tea to get a soothing feel on your skin. Once it comes to boil, Pour it in a shallow bowl. Place your face over the bowl, putting a towel over your head to trap the steam. Make sure your face is at a distance from the water as it might burn your skin. Stay there for about ten minutes, then immediately wash your face with a mild soap to remove the dirt and oil you just released.

6) Use medical strips
These strips are easily available at any drugstore. Cleanse your face and place the strip on the nose. Read the instructions and wait for few minutes as directed. Now gently peel off the strip from the corner. You will notice black dots on the strips which are the blackheads that are removed. To prevent blackheads from coming back, follow a regular cleansing and exfoliating routine.

Once you remove all the black heads follow simple steps as under to avoid the popping up again.

1) Change your pillowcase as often as possible. The oil and sebum produced by your hair can accumulate on the pillow and comes in contact with your face.
